Key Lime Pie

This super easy recipe is from our friend David.  He has a very successful real estate company in the Atlanta area and is a kind and generous soul.

There are only four ingredients in this easy recipe.

David’s Key Lime Pie

1 prepared graham cracker crust

2 cans of sweetened condensed milk

3/4 c. Nellie and Joe’s lime juice (You must use this brand.  It is often found on aisle with the cake mixes.)

2 egg yolks

Beat egg yolks.  Add sweetened condensed milk, and mix thoroughly.  Then add 3/4c. lime juice.  Pour into pie crust.  Bake at 350* for 8-10. DO NOT LET IT BROWN.  Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.  Top with whipped cream and ENJOY!

I took the above picture out on my back porch because the light was better than inside the house.  Here is what happens if you have your pie outside more than two minutes in this Georgia summer heat…  ;p

Even if it melts it’s still yummy.  Don’t worry…although it was only 8 am when I took this picture and had the whipped cream melt, I manged to take one for the team and choke it down for my pre-breakfast appetizer.  Mmmm goood!

**I have received no compensation for this product recommendation.  Just wanted to give you a heads up on some yummy deliciousness.  Enjoy!!!
