The house is finished. Yay!!!!!!!
The tour begins in the foyer. Remember when I picked out the lights here.
To the left of the foyer is the dining room.
The stairs divide the dining room and kitchen.
From the foyer – straight ahead is the family room.
Remember when I talked about the chocolate brown coffered ceiling. Well, here it is.
The kitchen is on the left side of the family room.
This double oven was one of the treats we gave ourselves. It’s by GE Profile, and it’s called a single/double. It only takes up the space of a single wall oven, but there are TWO!!! I love, love, love it. You’d think they would each be too small for much use, but they are both plenty big. The upper oven is perfect for casseroles. Believe it or not you can fit a 20+ pound turkey in the lower oven. AND – the lower oven is a convection oven too.
If you look on the left side of the picture below you can see another treat. It’s an instant hot water tap. I’m a BIG hot tea drinker. We had one of these in our old house, so I knew I wanted to have one again. It’s perfect for hot tea, cocoa mixes, hot cereals, etc.
On the back side of the kitchen is the master bedroom.
Then to the master bath.
Here is the tumbled stone tile I told you about. One of our goodies in here is the additional rain shower head.
Here’s one thing I downgraded in this house, the master tub. I’m not a big fan of jetted tubs so I just went with a plain soaker tub.
If you come into the house from the garage, the first room you’ll see is the laundry room. It is ginormous!! I love it.
Further down the hall from the garage is the powder room.
This house has a split floor plan. The family room and kitchen are in the middle. On the left side of the house are the master, laundry room, and garage. On the right side of the house are two bedrooms and a full bath. We turned the two downstairs bedrooms into an office for my sweetie and a craft room for me.
I can’t wait to show you how it looks all put together. Thanks for keeping up with me
