This time of year, especially for the outside of your home, is kind of the decorating “no man’s land”. We’ve passed the time for Christmas decor and it’s just a little bit too early for the spring stuff.
I’d like to put up a wreath of simple greens or even twigs, but I have a dark green front door and those dark wreaths don’t show up too well.
Here’s my version of a transitional wreath to take my front porch decor from winter into spring. This willow wreath was SUPER easy and only cost about $12.
I started with 3 willow sprigs from Big Lots. They were $4 each and about three and half feet long.
I bent each one into a rough circular shape.
I then stacked the circles on top of each other, tucking in pieces here and there, and just wired them together with some florist wire I already had.
Ta daahhh! Easy peasy and so much less expensive than buying a pre-made wreath.
