Banana Bread

Each week I get a basket of yummy produce from the farmer’s market.  Invariably there are always bananas included in my haul.  A person can only eat SO many bananas – really; but when you add a stick of butter and a cup of sugar I manage to use them up, each and every time (surprise, surprise).  Mmmm!

1 stick of butter, melted ( I always use salted butter)

1 c. sugar

½ t. vanilla

3-4 T. milk

2 eggs

2 ½ bananas, mashed

1 ½ c. self rising flour

¾ c. nuts (my favorites are pecans)td>

Mix all together.  Pour into greased loaf pans. (Easy Peasy!!!)

Bake @ 350* for 45 minutes.  Makes 2 short loaves or 1 tall loaf.
