On to the main floor. This is the entry level for the front door. It’s where the living room, dining room, kitchen, pantry, keeping room, and the awesome porch are.
I love the lack of window treatments on these windows. The moulding is so pretty I don’t think anything else is necessary.
The living room sits at the front of the house. Through the living room is the dining room with it gorgeous round table and amazing lighting.
Next we’ll head back out into the hall to the powder room.
The hallway ends at the fabulous kitchen. It is full of light and elegant style. (Though I’m sure you can’t tell from my dark pictures). The whole house really has nice light.
On the back left side of the kitchen was a separate Butler’s Pantry. It was not a traditional style Butler’s Pantry in that most just house the bonus appliances. This room had both the main fridge and microwave in it. I really loved the storage though. It would be a great place for all of my many dishes.
The cabinets and appliances are from IKEA. Look at these beautiful cabinets. IKEA…I know!
The kitchen was just beautiful. (Not a big fan of the horse-head on the vent hood, but it did add character).
As I mentioned before, the light fixtures in this home are really unique and beautiful.
Finally a view from the kitchen back towards the formal dining room. I am IN LOVE with those amazing pocket doors!
Now, on to the keeping room. Look at this pretty TV screen.
I’m all ready to move in.
The keeping room leads out to an inviting outdoor living space.
Close up shots of the porch details:
Are you as in love with the decor of this house as I am? In the next post I’ll show you pictures of the lower level and outdoor patio.
PS. I’m having a hate-hate relationship with my blog. Any advice you could give me to simplify the whole uploading of pictures would be GREATLY appreciated. AAAAaaaaarrrrgggggghhhhh!
Until next time….
