One of my favorite fall treats is yummy pumpkin bread, still warm from the oven is best. I’m a tea drinker too, so to top off my snack I always wash it down with a cup of tea. (Lady Grey – decaf, of course)
I’ve tried so many recipes over the years for the perfect pumpkin bread. There are lots of good ones. I especially like quick breads with the crumble topping.

Last Friday I took a little field trip up to the North Georgia Mountains. What a gorgeous day! I think autumn is my favorite season. The cooler weather brings to mind nesting and comfort food. What could be better than that? My little trip up north was just about an hour’s drive and a world away from all of the hustle and bustle of life ‘in-town’.
